Your website is so cool, and I love your lab notes, especially the zoology ones!!

Replied on: September 7, 2026 at 10:14:27 AM

Thank you!! I feel I've neglected my lab a little, so I'm glad that you like my notes!! I really spent a lot of time on them back in the day so I'm genuinely so happy someone else can learn some animal facts from them too

Hi! Your site is so whimsical and inspiring! I love your boyfriends shrine (Astarion is also my favorite) and I definitely want to try your sticky toffee pudding recipe. I hope you have a lovely day!

thank you so much!! and I hope the sticky toffee pudding turns out spectacularly for you if you do try it! I love your site too, it's really so so beautiful. Also really obsessed with your jam reviews, I've always overlooked mixed berries but maybe I've been making a terrible mistake??

I adooore your poetry collection (honestly, also the rest of your site!!!) How did you find the poems? Do you just read anthologies?

Replied on: September 7, 2026 at 10:11:12 AM

thank you!! hmm, most of them I've just come across over the years wandering the web honestly. Sometimes I will go looking for poems on poetry websites, if i have a specific theme in mind that I want to read. I actually dont read a lot of anthologies! Something I must do, because I'm sure I'd enjoy it. I used to read a lot more poetry when I was younger too, but it's always something I love even if at a distance sometimes. Also - I have to say I admire your site so much, I've had a lovely time reading through your poetry. I imagine it's scary to put them out there? But thank you for doing it!

Replied on: June 3, 2026 at 1:46:37 PM

thank you!! It took three tries to settle on a layout for the library that I liked, so it's nice to hear that other people like it too - it took a lot of noodling around!

I'm loving all the rabbit holes, especially the 2-D boyfriends and the library. I started keeping a physical media journal last year where I use a little zink photo printer to print out film/tv/manga/anime covers and then write out the dates and media in various colors of ink. Now I want to do this on a web page too!

Replied on: April 30, 2026 at 11:33:12 AM

thank you!! the 2D boyfriends is incredibly self indulgent, so I'm delighted that someone else enjoys it. Oh I always wanted one of those printers! I tried to do a physical media journal before and it was super fun, but sometimes I was being too much of a perfectionist to write anything. One upside of the web page is how much you can come back and edit!
